Coach Wade Allen
Back in the dark ages Wade started with Milwaukee County Park archery lessons in Milwaukee, WI. He and his dad then shot at Whiffen Archery. Larry Whiffen's shop was like a candy store. All sorts of bows and equipment that you could try in the shop's indoor range.
After a break of many years Wade is shooting with son, Geoffrey, and is a Level 2 certified instructor. At the moment he has gone backwards, from shooting recurve to traditional long bow (aka "a stick"). He was USA Archery's 2015 National Indoor Champion for Male Senior Traditional Longbow and the NC Field Archery Association's Indoor Adult Male Longbow Champion. He is the 2015 and 2016 National Field Archery Association's Southeast Indoor Sectional Champion. He competes in the British Long Bow Society, USA Archery and the North Carolina Field Archery Association events. In 2017/18 Wade and Coach Kim were part of the first American team to compete in the British Long Bow Society's Portsmouth Postal Tournament. Their team took 4th.

Coach Kim Allen
After two years of acting as logistics manager/sherpa for Wade and Geoffrey, Coach Kim decided she might as well give it a try, too. So at age 51, she took up archery. She is now a USA Archery Level 2 instructor and like her husband, a barebow and longbow archer. She competes in the British Long Bow Society, USA Archery and NFAA tournaments and has now entered the NC Senior Games. (You're never too old for archery.) Despite the preponderance of traditional archers in her family, we're all happy to shoot with compound and recurve folk!
She is the National Field Archery Association's 2016 Southeast Indoor Sectionals Senior Female Traditional Champion, the North Carolina Field Archery Association's Senior Female Traditional Champion and the 2016 North Carolina Senior Games Barebow Female Champion in her age division. In 2017, she won the NCFAA Senior Female Traditional Championship (setting a new record) and took silver in USA Archery's National Indoor Championship in Modern Longbow. She is the British Long Bow Society's North American Ladies' Champion for 2018.

Coach Alan Webb
Alan has a lifelong love of archery, beginning shooting at the age of 12. He shoots a compound bow. He enjoys bow hunting, bow fishing and target archery. He enjoys sharing his love of archery with youth. He found the club after his daughter, Sydney, joined the club through Cedar Ridge High School. He has struggled through the years with form issues of his own. Because of this, he is able to see the same issues in others and help to correct them. Alan is also a USA Archery level 2 instructor.
